Suppliertr Diesel Generator Cif Export Case Study

LOME TOGO August 2026 West African Generator Importer and Distributor 373

Diesel Generator Supply and CIF Export Planning Project

SupplierTR Case Study | Commercial Proposal & International Supply Planning

Destination

Lomé, Togo

Project Stage

Commercial proposal, technical confirmation and CIF shipment planning

Project Summary

SupplierTR prepared a structured commercial proposal and international supply plan for the first shipment of diesel generator sets requested by an importer and distributor serving Togo and neighboring West African markets. The scope covers 30 silent canopy diesel generator sets across four power ratings, configured for institutional, commercial and backup-power applications.

The proposed shipment includes 10 units of 11/10 kVA, 10 units of 18/16 kVA, 5 units of 60/55 kVA and 5 units of 175/159 kVA generator sets. The quoted commercial value is USD 242,705 on a CIF Lomé Port, Togo basis under Incoterms® 2020. This amount includes the generator sets and the defined export logistics scope up to the destination port.

SupplierTR coordinated the commercial structuring, preliminary technical configuration, export documentation framework, container planning, marine cargo insurance and ocean freight scope. The shipment plan is based on three 40-foot High Cube containers, subject to final confirmation of unit dimensions, weights and packing lists.

The project is currently at the proposal and confirmation stage. Production and delivery are planned to commence after receipt of the advance payment and the buyer’s written approval of the final voltage, phase configuration, engine brand, alternator brand and other technical specifications.

Commercial Framework

Delivery term: CIF Lomé Port, Togo — Incoterms® 2020. Estimated delivery period: 6–8 weeks after advance payment and final technical confirmation. Payment terms: 50% by bank transfer upon order confirmation and 50% by bank transfer before factory dispatch.

Import customs duties, import VAT, taxes and other governmental charges payable in Togo are excluded. Destination customs clearance, port storage, demurrage, detention, unloading, post-arrival handling, local transportation, installation, fuel, engine oil, commissioning and on-site training are also outside the quoted scope.

Operational Approach

SupplierTR applies a compliance-focused and execution-oriented procurement model that connects equipment selection, commercial terms, export logistics and technical confirmation within a single supply workflow. For international machinery and power-system projects, responsibilities and exclusions are defined before production to reduce ambiguity during shipment, customs clearance and final delivery.

With experience in industrial equipment procurement, generator supply, public-sector sourcing and cross-border project coordination, SupplierTR supports both individual machine purchases and multi-unit industrial supply programs from Türkiye.
