Evaporator (Falling Film)
EVAPORATOR (FALLING FILM) Falling film evaporator is a high-efficiency condensing equipment used in molasses production lines. The system is based on the principle that the liquid is distributed as a thin film on the pipe surfaces and flows downwards. During film flow, heat transfer occurs, the water in the product evaporates and the molasses reaches the desired concentration. Thanks to its ability to work under vacuum, the boiling temperature of the product is reduced, thus the molasses is less exposed to heat and its nutritional values and natural color are preserved. This feature provides a great advantage especially for heat-sensitive products. Since the falling film evaporator works on the principle of short-term heat treatment, it makes it possible to achieve high efficiency without deteriorating the quality of the product. It is a reliable solution in production lines with its energy-saving design, continuous operation feature and low calcification tendency.
