Sesame Roasting Unit
SESAME Roasting Unit The sesame to be processed in the roasting units, which consist of a total of 6 units and are positioned one under the other in groups of 3, is fed into the system from the entrance point of the top roasting unit of the first group of 3. As the product advances through the spiral wings, the sesame starts to be roasted in a controlled manner at each stage, thanks to the adjustable steam supplied to the roasting unit with a roll-bond heating jacket. After the first unit is completed, the sesame is transferred to the second unit and continues the roasting process in the opposite direction of the previous unit. The sesame seeds poured into the last stage of the group of three continue to be roasted in the same way as in the first and second units, while moving in the opposite direction of the previous unit. Sesame seeds that are ready to move to the fourth unit are transferred to the fourth unit in the lower group via a transfer elevator. Proceeding step by step, as in the first group, the sesame seeds pass through the fifth and sixth units and are roasted and taken out of the system from the exit point of the sixth unit. The system works continuously in this way. The product is fed into the system from the entry point and is carried forward, both acting as a mixer and pushed forward, thanks to the wings wrapped in a helical structure. The product, which is transferred from the exit point to the next level at the end of each ceiling, is taken to the bottom level with the help of the transfer elevator after going down to the bottom floor twice. The heating process is provided by roll-bond heating jackets, and the temperature values for each jacket can be adjusted independently. The roasting process is completed and the product is directed to the cooling unit at the final stage.
